Blessed Jamaican Cuisine

Before the Justin Timberlake concert my daughters and I went to eat at Blessed Jamaican cuisine on Prairie across from the new Chase Forum. We ordered the chicken curry and jerk chicken plates. With the Jamaican chef and all of his friends, it almost felt like we were in Jamaica. The chef was friendly, and helpful. His friends were friendly as well. The two dishes we ate were a little spicy. They came with a type of slaw, rice and beans. The rice and beans had a coconut flavor, which I love. I bought a large chicken curry, which was more than enough for my girls, and a regular Jerk Chicken, which was more than enough for me. We also drank the grapefruit soda, Ting. I was satisfied with the service and the food. While it's not a place to take someone on a date, unless you're taking him or her there before a concert, it is definitely a quick bite to eat or take out.
